About me
A little about me and my approach to teaching Spanish
I’m a polyglot who speaks six languages, four of which I learned from scratch as foreign languages. So I know firsthand what it takes to learn a new language, and I understand the journey my students go through.
Over the years, I’ve worked with learners with all kinds of language-learning abilities, backgrounds, and levels of confidence. And one thing I can say for sure is this: anyone who wants to can learn to speak Spanish. You don’t need to be naturally gifted at languages. You just need the right approach, practice, and a little patience.
I don’t specialize in exam preparation. Instead, I help you learn Spanish for real life, so you can feel confident using it in everyday situations, connecting with people, and expressing yourself wherever Spanish is spoken.

A few fun facts about me
I used to do stand-up comedy.
I spent six years doing stand-up, including three years performing in Spanish! I’ve shared the stage with well-known comedians and regularly written my own material. This experience taught me a lot about humor, timing, and the nuances of spoken Spanish, and it helps me teach you how to sound more natural, understand cultural references, and express your personality in another language.

I’ve organized language exchange clubs in different countries, Latin American parties, and events introducing people to the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries. I have plenty of stories, cultural insights, and real-life experiences to share with you in our lessons. Because learning Spanish is about so much more than grammar: it’s about the people, traditions, and cultures behind the language.

I have a degree in foreign language education.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in foreign language teaching and have also trained with some of the best certified Spanish teachers. This means I combine a solid academic background with practical teaching methods to help you make progress in a way that works for you.
I believe learning should feel comfortable and safe.
Having been in personal therapy for many years, I deeply value emotional well-being and self-awareness. I want my lessons to be a space where you can relax, make mistakes without feeling embarrassed, ask questions, and speak freely. No pressure, no judgment: just a supportive environment where you can grow at your own pace.
Music is one of my biggest passions.
I sing, play the guitar, and absolutely love Spanish-language music. I can bring songs, lyrics, and musical references into our lessons to help you improve your listening skills, pick up natural expressions, discover new vocabulary, and connect with the rhythm and melody of Spanish. It’s also a great way to explore the cultures and emotions behind the language while making learning more fun and memorable.

My goal is simple: to help you feel at home in Spanish. Not just understand it, but actually use it to connect, communicate, and be yourself.
